LAUREN DUNITZ (Writer/Director)’s TV and feature scripts have earned her Finalist status at the International Screenwriters’ Association, HollyShorts Screenwriting Competition, Emerging Writers Outstanding Screenplay TV Pilot Competition, and the ScreenCraft TV Pilot Script Competition. Her short film WHITEBOY was awarded a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition from Congressional Representative Laura Friedman. She is currently a candidate for The Future of Film is Female Short Film Fund sponsored by NEON.
Lauren’s work is funny and scary. She’s concerned with female group dynamics and the complex and subtle ways in which women relate to one another. She is also fascinated by reality TV’s and social media’s effects on women in the post-modern world.
ROBERT CARROLL (Producer) is an award-winning Producer with over 50 television credits over the course of thousands of hours of television, including Bravo’s REAL HOUSEWIVES OF BEVERLY HILLS, VANDERPUMP RULES, and E!’s BOTCHED. His work has been featured on Netflix, NBC Universal, HBO, and Paramount.
His independent production effort ROWDY HOUSE is currently in post production on the feature length documentary BROTHERS, directed by award-winning filmmaker Sean Mullin (IT AIN’T OVER, BOB TRAVINO LIKES IT).
VP INDEPENDENT (Producers), made up of ANDREW VOGEL (left) and SUZANN TONI PETRONGOLO (right) is a feature film production company dedicated to the magic of independent filmmaking and empowering new and unique voices. In 2023, the company released Matthew Yerby’s THE DIRTY SOUTH, starring Willa Holland, Shane West, and Dermot Mulroney. The film won Best Cinematography at NYC’s Chelsea Film Festival and was released worldwide in limited theaters and across all major digital platforms via Cineverse and Film Mode. The film received critical praise, including MovieWeb calling it a “vastly underrated indie” and the New York Times claiming it as a “rough and tumble holiday treat.”
Most recently, the company produced the raucous comedy/thriller DEAD GIVEAWAY with Mikaela Hoover, Ruby Modine, and Scout Taylor-Compton, which premiered to rave reviews at the Philadelphia Film Festival, and the high-concept psychological horror, HERMAN. Both are set to release in 2025.
DANA MELANIE (Alice) (left) Dana was born in Los Angeles, California and raised between New York and Los Angeles. She is an actress and writer most known for her role as a Young Emily Dickinson in WILD NIGHTS WITH EMILY the Netflix teen series GREENHOUSE ACADEMY, and the award winning short film WAITING TO DIE IN BAYSIDE, QUEENS.
ALLISON LANIER (Vicki) (right) is most known for her work on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy and the Amazon series RED OAKS. Allison is also a writer and producer in pre-production on her first short film.
POWELL ROBINSON (Cinematographer) (right) is an award-winning narrative and commercial Cinematographer based out of Los Angeles and represented by Zero Gravity Management. He’s shot music videos for Doja Cat, The Weeknd, Jack White, Twenty One Pilots, and more, but his passion lies in genre features. His work on the films APPENDAGE and MR. CROCKET can be seen on Hulu and his segment for the latest V/H/S/ entry just premiered on Shudder to rave reviews.
SYDNE HORTON (Assistant Director) is a writer/director focused on genre-blending narratives that explore identity, belonging, and the messy magic of self-discovery, told with horror, heart, and humor.
Her short SATURDAY RITUAL screened at the Cannes Film Festival as part of the American Pavilion Emerging Filmmaker Showcase. It also won the Best Teen Film Audience Award at NewFest and was a jury contender at Palm Springs ShortFest. Her horror short META was featured in the book I Spit Your Celluloid: The History of Women Directing Horror Movies, and it was exhibited at Seattle’s Museum of Pop Culture for three months.
Sydne is an alum of the Women in Film Directing Mentorship and the Emmys Television Academy Internship Program.
JAMIN BRICKER (Editor) is an accomplished Editor represented by Zero Gravity Management. He is most known for his work on the television shows THE GAME, FIREFLY LANE, and FX’S THE SANDMAN but his work also spans commercials, documentaries, and music videos. He is based in Los Angeles.
DREW MIKUSKA (Composer) is a film, television, & videogame composer living and working in Los Angeles, California. He currently works with prolific film composer BRIAN TYLER. Their recent work includes the scores for NOW YOU SEE ME NOW YOU DON’T (Lionsgate), TRANSFORMERS: ONE (Paramount), ABIGAIL (Universal), NUREMBERG (Sony Pictures Classics), and SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE (Universal).
SIGGY SOOKY (Production Designer) is a Painter turned Screen Writer/Film Director. She sees with her heart and lives in a world of color, working in many mediums but particularly focused on 16mm Motion Picture Film and Stop Motion.
